Become a Peer Reviewer for BJMP
Applications are invited from suitably qualified senior medical professionals to be included in BJMP Peer Review Board. You should be
- Working at a senior clinical/academic post like Consultant/attending/lecturer level
- Have experience in doing research,
- Have published your own work in peer reviewed journal
- Able to critically evaluate others academic work.
- working in a clinical specialty like internal medicine and associated specialities, psychiatry, paediatrics, gynae and obstetrics, and general practice.
Members of the Peer Review Board peer review submitted articles in their areas of expertise, suggest topics to be covered and provide ongoing advice to the editors. Final decision about the acceptance and refusal of the article for the publication will be taken by editors. No person, including editors, will be involved in the peer review of an article in which they have a direct or indirect interest or involvement.
The peer review board will be reviewed annually. It is envisaged that a Peer Reviewer may review upto 3-4 papers in a year.
